We are currently looking for an experienced Accountant in Astana (hybrid schedule) who will handle accounting and tax reporting for employees.
What you will work on:
- Managing accounting and tax records;
- Preparing financial statements in accordance with local accounting and tax standards, and submitting reports to all required regulatory authorities;
- Processing bank payments;
- Calculating payroll for 40-50 employees;
- Ensuring HR documentation workflow together with the Administrative Manager of the office;
- Providing legal entity reporting within the framework of group financial closure;
- Conducting local audits (if necessary) and supporting procedures during Group Audits;
- Representing the company’s interests in tax and other regulatory authorities;
- Advising colleagues on accounting and financial processes.
It’s important to us:
- Higher education in accounting, finance, or a related field;
- At least 3 years of experience as an accountant;
- Excellent knowledge of accounting and tax regulations;
- Proficiency in using PC and accounting software;
- Experience and knowledge in foreign economic activity (FEA);
- Understanding of HR administration and document management;
- Russian language proficiency at Intermediate level or higher;
- Integrity, strong communication skills, attention to detail, proactivity, responsibility, and the ability to meet deadlines;
- Comprehensive knowledge of all areas of accounting;
- Understanding the role of accounting in business operations, with the ability to set up processes that support company growth rather than burdening it with bureaucracy.
Would be a great bonus:
- Experience in successfully passing audits, tax inspections, and other regulatory checks in Kazakhstan;
- Previous experience working as an auditor;
- Experience in an IT company;
- English language proficiency at Intermediate level or higher.
