G5 Games is a game developer and publisher headquartered in Stockholm, Sweden. We have over 850+ talented professionals worldwide who work remotely in one of our 10 locations. More than 20 years ago, the company became one of the first mobile game developers in the world.
You may know us from hit projects like Sherlock, Hidden City®, Mahjong Journey®, The Secret Society®, the Jewels series, and many others.
We are currently looking for an experienced Game UI/UX Designer.
What you will work on:
- Designing user interaction scenarios with the interface, as well as creating wireframes and prototypes of game interfaces in collaboration with game designers, artists, and producers;
- Assembling final interfaces in Figma/Adobe Photoshop based on graphics created by artists;
- Integrating finished interfaces into the game (we will teach you how to do this);
- Optimizing graphic assets of the game interface.
It’s important to us:
- At least 2 years of experience in game design;
- Ability to identify user needs, transform these needs into feasible solutions, and communicate the value of these solutions to stakeholders and the team;
- Ability to create effective user interaction scenarios with the interface;
- Ability to design interfaces based on the principles of usability, composition, and color theory;
- Ability to create interface mockups in Figma, Adobe XD (or similar tools);
- Professional proficiency in Adobe Photoshop;
- Understanding of web, application development tools and processes, ideally game development;
- A portfolio is required.
Would be a great bonus:
- Strong gaming experience and a love for games.
- Ability to draw by hand and have a good artistic sense;
- Knowledge of animation basics and experience in creating interface animations;
