We are currently looking for a 3D Сharacter Animator (remote) who will create expressive character animations for in-game locations and close-up portraits, work with emotions and speech, prepare and optimize animations for game integration, and collaborate with a cross-functional team in a cartoon style. You will work with experienced professionals, improve your skills, and contribute to the visual aspect of successful games. What You Will Work On:
- Animate characters in locations and close-up portrait shots (with emotions and speech).
- Animate character emotions.
- Prepare and optimize animations for integration into the project.
- Collaborate with artists, designers, and developers as part of the team.
- Work in a cartoon (stylized) art style.
What We Expect:
- Experience in the game development industry for mobile platforms and PC.
- Confident knowledge of Autodesk Maya.
- Proficiency with Advanced Skeleton.
- A portfolio showcasing character animations.
- Ability to export and set up animations in game engines.
- Ability to create character rigs.
- Understanding of rhythm, dynamics, body mechanics, and smooth motion.
- Knowledge of how to work within technical requirements.
- Skills in animation optimization.
- Fluency in Russian.
Would Be a Plus:
- Experience working with Motion Capture, including publicly available tools.
- Experience with character customization systems.
- Basic knowledge of creating simple effects (particles, highlights, beams).
